AudioArts Engineering Model 4100 Parametric Equalizer

AudioArts Engineering, now owned by Wheatstone, built these very musical sounding parametrics in the early 1980's.   They use a color coded scheme for each of the 4 sections, and have overlapping freqency bands and independent bypass switches on each section.

Here are some of the features:

• Balanced Line  Input and Output (TRS)
• Unbalanced Preamp input
• Boost or Cut +/- 16 db on each section
• Bandwidth from .16 to 2.0 Octave per section
• Frequency Center:  22 to 300 Hz with 10X multiplier switch (Sections 1 & 2)
• Frequency Center:  100 to 1000 Hz with 10X multiplier switch (Section 3)
• Frequency Center:  180 to 2100 Hz with 10X multiplier switch (Section 4)
• Section Bypass switches
• Unit Bypass switch
• Unit Master Gain control
• Power switch & LED
• Overload LED
