Kliegl Fresnel Lighting Instrument,Model 3518

Antique Kliegl Stage Lighting Fixtures 

All of these fixtures are 40 years old, and the design and Kliegl logo may be a carry over from older models.  The Focusing Fresnels come in 3 models, each taking lamps of 750, 1000 and 2000 watts.   This model, the 3518 will accept 1KW lamps.   The fixtures are being sold as unlamped, but many of them still contain the lamps that were installed when removed from service.

The fixtures are lightweight construction, except for the ellipsoidal spots which are larger and have additional controls, sections and handles. 
The 3518 glass fresnels measure  8" diameter.  

Each fixture also has: 

• Steel pipe Clamp 
• 20 amp Twist lock plug & power cord 
• U-bracket 
• Internal reflectors 

These fixtures would make a great addition as an architechural accent in a loft, apartment, restaurant or club. The clamps and U brackets make it possible to mount these at any angle. With a little modification they could be rewired with a standard medium base socket, lamped with any standard bulb and hooked to a dimmer for colored accent lighting.
