This Magna-Tech Synchronizer is in very good cosmetic condition and was removed from a working transfer studio. 
The 92C syncs were used with Ampex 350 and 440 1/4" reel decks to lock up the Audio track to a film dubbing setup while dubbing to 16mm magnetic tape. The synchronizer is powered from the reel deck.  

The Magnatech has 2 VU meters, and a round green CRT display to indicate phase, and the voltage meter registers about 90 volts when the recorder is engaged. The Magnatech connects to the Ampex via a square multi-pin plug and the main adjustment dial controls the speed of the playback deck.
Internal photos show at least one leaky filter capacitor.
