Wurlitzer 12" speakers

The Wurlitzer Model 62 Tone Cabinet had a single 15" field coil speaker paired with a 12" permanent magnet speaker.    These PM drivers were removed from 2 working cabinets.    The manufacturers code of P-232 indicates that these drivers were manufactured by Magnavox, who supplied Wurlitzer, Scott and a number of other companies with raw drivers.

These drivers were tested with full range audio and swept.  They sound fine with no buzzes, rattles or any indications of VC deformation.  They appear to have 1" voice coils, Ribbed paper cones and AlNiCo magnets.

Using a Fluke DMM the voice coils read 6.6 Ω DCR.    There are no visible tears or cracks in the cones or the spiders, and one felt pole piece cover has a small hole in it.
