Otari 2 track .250" head assembly for Otari MX-55 machines.

This .250" head assembly has a 2 track erase head (Otari GH4E141A), a 2 track record head and 2 track playback head (Otari GH4P140A).  It was relapped and optically aligned by JRF Magnetics, date unknown.  

This assembly has slots cut above and below the gaps on the record and play heads.  This is done to prevent any ridges from forming above and below the tape path as the head wears down.   The heads and guides are in very good condion.
