Knox Video Model RS8x8 HB Router

This is a $3000 Professional routing switcher.   All I/Os are via BNCs and Phoenix connectors.  Front panel LED display shows signal paths at a glance.

This model can be used for RGB or Composite Video signals, with balanced or unbalanced STEREO audio.

All of the RGB inputs are Looping inputs so it is easy to set this up to function as a large, elaborate Distribution amplifier to send signals to multiple destinations with full buffering and isolation.   Using a composite signal the input can be looped from R to G to B using the looping outputs.   This provides a 1x3 video DA on each of 8 inputs.

This unit has Dual power supply capability and has a battery backup memory.  Stored crosspoint patterns can be recalled even with power failures.

This is an Audio Follow Video vertical interval switcher that can route audio separately if desired.

The control surface shown is a 3 RU panel and the lower panel in the photo can be mounted at the rear of the rack if space is limited.

THis is an excellent Router for Dub racks or Control room distribution to remote locations, such as Conference rooms and Edit Suites.
