This amplifier works well, but has a number of cosmetic defects that bear mentioning:

Damage to the lower holes on each rack ear
Missing cord wrap posts
overall rough cosmetics front, top and rear

This is an early (1980s) version of the famed Yamaha P Series amplifiers. Like most Yamaha audio gear, both Pro and Consumer, these amplifiers have gained a kind of cult following and rightly so. Yamaha Audio equipment has an excellent reputation for fine detailed sound and their build quality has always been superior.
