This frame has redundant power supplies and uses 8 Ultra 320 drives--the Seagate Model ST3146807LC Cheetah 147GB 10000RPM Ultra320 80-Pin 3.5-Inch Hot-Swap SCSI Hard Drive.   There are 2 SCSI outputs on each power supply, .8mm Ultra High Density (VHDC1) connectors.  

The Cheetah 10K.6 is Seagates sixth-generation 10K RPM high performance, high capacity disc drive. With the fastest interfaces, the highest reliability and the most mature product design for the time.  

We've done a minimal amount of testing on these units beyond verifying that they power up.
