Western Electronic CX-2, Coax Cable Stripper

A Western Electronic Products Company model CX-2 Coaxial Cable stripper.  It has a 120 V AC motor that drives a hollow shaft where the wire is inserted.  There are 4 adjustable blades for setting the depth and spacing of each cut.  The blades are engaged with a clutch operated by a small lever on the front of the machine.  Wire opening is approximately 5/16" (.3125").   There is a clear lexan shield that swivels down for quick access to the blade adjustments.

The unit was tested with a piece of Belden 8281.  All of the cutters engage, no adjustments for depth or spacing were made.  A handy tool for preparing coaxial cable for BNCs, UHF, and all types of connectors.  In seconds it makes straight even cuts through the jacket, sheild, and center dielectric. 

One of the blade springs needs to be replaced.  No additional information or specifications is available at this time.
