Ampex 350 1/4" Full Track head assembly

This head assembly is from 1955, and there is noticeable wear on the playback and record heads, with a marked trapezoidal pattern on the record head.   The glass guides are original and intact.     

It was removed from a 350 Full track machine that was used along with a Magna-Tech Playback Synchronizer to lock up film tracks with Full Track Nagra recordings, as part of a small 16mm Film Sync and Transfer Company.  

Everything appears to be original, and there is considerable wear to the black matte paint on the head cover.  Sold complete with everything in the photos, including the wiring harness and original connectors.

There is some Oxide residue which appears red/brown along the edges of head mounts.

Please note: there is some space and a bit of play between the playback head and its mount, see pointer in photo #10.
