Shure AMS22 Low-Profile Microphone

 Please note:  These microphones are designed specifically for the SHURE AMS series mixers and will not work with standard mixers.

AMS 22 Low Profile microphone

-Low-profile, boundary microphone for installation on flat surfaces such as tables, desks, and lecterns.

-Operates like a hemi- or half-cardioid microphone because half the cardioid pattern "disappears" when the microphone is placed on a surface.

-Low vibration and hum sensitivity

-Hemi-cardioid polar pattern

-Low profile design is unobtrusive on conference tables

-Surface mounting eliminates comb-filter effects due to surface reflections, allowing smoother frequency response

To permanently mount the AMS22 to a table, desk or lectern, drill a hole through the surface, then insert a 4-40 screw through

it and into the threaded nut in the microphone base.

Note: If the mounting surface is too small, low-frequency rolloff may occur and the microphone may pick up more background noise.
