This Fostex Interface connects directly to any Otari MX5050 using the Otari Locator Jack on the rear panel (Not the Otari Remote Port).  That provides Sync and Chase functions between the Otari machine and other Sources, Midi, SMPTE, etc.

It has a 34 Pin CN connector.  The connection from this box to the Fostex system uses a 20 Pin Ribbon style connector, the Fostex model number is 8540.
